A very good recording
Fizgerald's novel tells the story of Anthony Patch, whose life is characterized by a general laziness and inertia. The book traces, at very great length, with much repetition of a not particularly profound subtle psychological analysis and numerous dissertations, the course of his mental, moral and physical disintegration.
Many thanks to Mrs Tavano for her lively and precise reading of the book. Her recording will delight amateurs of American literature for many hours.
